Transcription: Besides being able to host DXI and VSTI instruments, Sonar 4 also acts as a rewire host. In this movie tutorial, we'll take a look at how to integrate rewire clients into Sonar. Rewire allows audio and MIDI connections to be made between a pair of applications. Rewire clients expose audio outputs and MIDI inputs to rewire hosts. Rewire hosts can then use the client's outputs as audio track inputs. Hosts can also transmit MIDI data and clock information to clients.
